  • Public Policy Training: Advocates in Action

    The Policy Research Team of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Public Policy Special Interest Group (PolySIG), will host the 2016 NSBE Public Policy Symposium scheduled for April 22, 2016 in Washington D.C. The mission is to empower and train community advocates and future public policy leaders to be policy change agents in their spheres of influence. The training aims to: · Enhance organizational leadership skills · Provide strategies on mobilizing communities to action · Provide key insights on becoming engaged in the Political Process at the local and state levels · Learn how to collaborate and form supportive networks and partnerships.
