The written word has the power to transform lives and communities. The essay has long sense been the chosen genre to express political and or social concerns unencumbered by a particular structure. There are several issues of importance pleading for the voices and thoughts of a generation of utilitarian NSBE members to resonant through their writings.
The NSBE Public Policy SIG is seeking sincere, yet candid writings from essayists to provide wisdom and insight through fiction and nonfiction literary essays on topics germane to engineering, technology, education, community empowerment, and cultural esteem.
